Come as you are! We work from the default assumption that you don't need to be fixed. This body is your home, there's no other body. We respect that, we care for that. You don't need to be made different in order to live your life, and then - if you want to train, if you want to learn about moving better, develop some badass skills, improve your strength, fitness, flexibility, range of motion, practice martial arts or meditation -
You and I should talk.
We offer small class options and private one-on-one sessions, based around developing mobility, coordination and skillfulness. We may lift weights, train outdoors or indoors, practice Kung Fu or Boxing; we have small classes in Tai Chi and Qigong, and we don't prescribe diets. Instead, movement. Fitness. Strength and mobility. We believe in function over form, we proudly promote a Health At Every Size approach to fitness, and we focus on capitalising on your strengths, not chipping you away. We focus on building you up, not breaking you down.
And honestly, since the bizarre assault of 2020, much of the training we do has become small, semi-private, outdoors Tai Chi sessions. I value Tai Chi the most for peace. Recently a child saw me practicing with a client and asked "what are they doing?" of her guardian who replied "Tai Chi. It's good for relaxation". And there it is.
But having said all that, what do you need? It's called personal training because it's about you, not my agenda. And so, we offer personalised private training and group fitness classes in Melbourne and surrounding suburbs, including Middle Park, Hawthorn and Fairfield.
All sizes, ages, genders - welcome.
